Edinburgh has a very large, vibrant and dynamic neuroscience community with strong links between clinical, basic, infomatics and psychological research. Most researchers are located at the University of Edinburgh and it's hospitals, with a few researchers also based at Heriot Watt University, Napier University and St Margaret's University.
Edinburgh Neuroscience is an umbrella organisation that brings together neuroscience researchers from all backgrounds and acts as the Local Group Representative for the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) in Edinburgh. In additon to acting as the voice of neuroscience in the UK, the BNA have generously supported a number of Neuroscience Seminars at the University of Edinburgh. |
