Taxi: A taxi rank is located outside near the UK arrivals hall (east end of terminal building). The approximate cost from the airport to the city centre is £20.
For those arriving at Edinburgh Waverley train station: Most hotels are located within a short walk of the station, alternatively a taxi rank can be found within the station.
Car parking: Car parking in Edinburgh is very restricted, very expensive and should be avoided. Limited on-street car parking can be found on George Square (at the conference venue) and operates on a ‘pay and display’ basis. There is a maximum 2 hour stay between 8am-6.30pm and costs £2/hour.
Reduced Bus Fares – Edinburgh Convention Bureau have negotiated a special discount for bus travel with Edinburgh & Lothian buses. Parental Brain delegates will be entitled to reduced fares on the Airlink bus ticket but also on the exciting city sightseeing bus tours.
