The Centre for Cadiovascular Sciences has recently been awarded £3M from the British Heart Foundation to continue the BHF Centre of Research Excellence at Edinburgh (REA3). REA3 will be launched as part of the Cardiovascular Sciences Open Forum on Tuesday 26 March 2019. This funding will continue to support the centre's three pillars of excellence which focus on: Diabetes and the Metabolic Syndrome as Drivers of Cardiovascular Disease, Fibrosis and Calcification in Cardiovascular Disease, and Vascular Dysfunction: Blood Vessels, Vascular Disease and Vascular Dementia (led by Professor Joanna Wardlaw, Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences).

Congratulations to everyone involved!
