Four Edinburgh Neuroscience members elected Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences

The Academy of Medical Sciences each year elects leading medical scientists from hospitals, academia, industry and the public service to support their mission to advance biomedical and health research and its translation into benefits for society. From the 60 outstanding biomedical and health scientists announced as new Fellows in May 2022, four are Edinburgh Neuroscience members:
- Professor Siddharthan Chandran, MacDonald Professor of Neurology and Edinburgh Neuroscience Director
- Professor Malcolm Macleod, Professor of Neurology and Translational Neuroscience
- Professor Andrew McIntosh, Professor of Biological Psychiatry
- Professor Cathie Sudlow OBE, Professor of Neurology and Clinical Epidemiology
These Fellows have been recognised for their remarkable contributions to biomedical and health science and their ability to generate new knowledge and improve the health of people everywhere.
