The aim of this workshop is to bring together all the professional groups and services working with people with dementia. Hopefully as a result we can work together for the benefit of people with dementia and their families.

9 .00 am  Coffee and registration

9.30 am   Introduction and welcome to the day

Group discussions about our individual services and the most pressing issues in dementia care locally

Coffee break mid-morning

Short plenary talks and discussion on various dementia-related topics (e.g., technology, biomarkers, research engagement, post-diagnostic support, the general hospital etc.)

1.00 pm Lunch

2.00 pm  Keynote address by Professor Alistair Burns

Reflection on the keynote address and discussions from the morning

Group work to discuss how to use the learning from the day in our services

5.00 pm   Finish
