Presenting your research at Neuroscience Day 2020
If you would like to present your research at the meeting you have two options:
- Poster
- 5 min data blitz talk (if you are a PhD student)
Posters
To request a poster board you need to submit some brief information via our online request form (name/email address, poster title, authors, affiliations, theme category)
- List of posters at the meeting: A full list of posters being presented will be available by Monday 09 March 2020
- Guidelines for Making and Presenting a Great Poster: You can read our guidelines on how to make and present a great poster here. There are hints and tips on effective layout and content presentation, and also how to give a good verbal presentation on the day. Make the most of the effort you are putting in to your poster! If using a laptop, or at home, you need to turn on your University of Edinburgh VPN in order to access our poster guidlines.
- Poster Board Dimensions: The poster boards at the venue are A0 portrait orientation (120 cm high by 84 cm wide). We may not be able to accommodate your poster if it does not fit these dimensions. It is very important you let us know immediately if your poster is larger than this or if it is landscape in orientation - we may be able to provide a very small number of oversized boards at the venue but this is cannot be guaranteed.
- Deadline for submission of poster board requests: Monday 02 March 2020
