6 - 7.30 pm, preceded by refreshments at 5.30pm.
Come and join us for an evening of discussions surrounding Mental Health research, care and services.
The evening will begin with a short presentation by Dr Philip Benson to outline the promising findings that eye-movements have the potential to be used as a tool to help with mental health diagnoses. Dr Benson will then join an expert panel including:
- Alison Cairns, Chief Executive, Bipolar Scotland
- Dr Pauline McConville, Consultant Psychiatrist, Royal Edinburgh Hospital
- Jane Sutherland, Lead Occupational Therapist, South West Community Mental Health Team
All questions/comments welcome whether specific to the eye-movement study or more broadly about aspects of mental health/mental health research in general.
If you'd prefer to send your questions in advance, please email them to Barbara.Duff@ed.ac.uk, these can also be asked on the night.
Join us from 5.30pm for refreshments, the presentations will begin at 6pm.
