Edinburgh Neuroscience Day 2017

Edinburgh Neuroscience's Neuroscience Day is an annual day of talks and poster presentations from neuroscientists of all backgrounds at The University of Edinburgh. It is an opportunity for the clinicians, basic researchers and students at Edinburgh to meet and exchange ideas in a fun and informal setting. Once again there will be an annual poster competition for PhD students, as well our Annual Distinguished Lecture:
Programme
The meeting is a mixture of talks and poster presentation. The registration desk is open from 8.30 a.m., talks begin at 9 a.m., and the day is scheduled to finish about 5 p.m. The Annual Distinguished Lecture will take place at 4 p.m., and will be open to all. There is a meeting dinner from 7.30 pm (see below).
Registration
You must register to attend Neuroscience Day. We are always oversubscribed so, if you are not registered, you will be turned away on the day. **Neuroscience Day is sold out - we cannot acccept any further registrations **
Posters and Abstracts
There will be poster boards available - you need to submit an abstract to secure a board. There will be a reduced number of boards this year so abstracts will be reviewed as they are received and some may be declined. Please don't leave it to the last minute to submit something. As in previous year, there will be a PhD student poster competition. Abstract submission will open on 06 February 2017 and will close on Wednesday 08 March or when all boards are taken, whichever is sooner
Meeting Handout
The meeting handout will be electronic, allowing you to download the pdf version onto your laptop or mobile device. If you prefer a paper copy of the meeting handout you need to pre-order this during registration. A small number of additional paper copies will be available on the day but there will be a £2 charge for these. Pre-ordered copies are free.
